Teaching Plan
In my 26 days of the SEA Teacher program, I taught three times. My main goal was to get to know the students, make them feel comfortable, and create a positive learning environment where they were happy to participate and share their ideas, learn, listen, and actively take part in every activity.
CURRICULUM

The Bilingual Class Program has been running since 2010. It also uses the national curriculum (K13). However, students in this program have more English learning time than regular students. Lessons are given in both Indonesian and English, so students can slowly become confident in using both languages. The program is also supported by extra subjects such as Art and ICT, which help students become creative and familiar with technology. Through these programs, SD Laboratorium UM helps students learn well, improve their English skills, and grow in many areas.
TEACHING PLAN
At SD Laboratorium UM, teachers do not use a formal lesson plan as their main guide for teaching. Because of this, I applied what I had learned from my university in my home country. I prepared and used a semi-detailed lesson plan along with the school’s workbooks, which were sent to me online. These workbooks served as my main guide in understanding the lesson content, selecting activities, and organizing the flow of the class.
My semi-detailed lesson plan included the lesson content, the materials needed, and the procedures for teaching. The procedures followed steps such as motivation, presentation, guided practice, independent work, and evaluation. I also included simple assessments to check the students’ understanding.
I used both the school workbooks and my semi-detailed lesson plan as my guide when teaching the classes I handled during the SEA Teacher program. This approach helped me stay organized, manage my time effectively, and ensure that my lessons aligned with the curriculum used at SD Laboratorium UM.
